My First Home
Having a safe and comfortable place to call your own is fundamental in creating a foundation for your success. Home is more than a roof over your head. The way you feel inside your home can impact the way you feel about yourself and your future. It’s a safe space that represents who you are and provides the necessary comforts to allow you to unwind, recharge, and focus on you. Your home is a space you can be proud of. My first home helps bridge the gap of transferring your house to your home. Volunteers work with you to identify specific needs such as bed, dresser, sheets, kitchen items, towels, etc. that you need for your home. You and your volunteer will then go shopping for those items so you can choose the items that fit your style and personality. Volunteers will also work with you on bringing your style to life with décor and other wants that make your home feel special, safe, and unique to you.
Reliable Transportation
Transportation, vehicles, and insurance is expensive and can be hard to navigate. We are here to help. We offer support to help you budget and plan for your next vehicle, work with community partners to get discounted and free car services, get access to bus passes, and more.
