“Every youth is one caring adult away from being a success story.”

-JOSH SHIPP

The connections built between our youth and volunteers are the foundation of success at Angels Landing. Our volunteer opportunities drive a lasting impact in the lives of the youth we are blessed to serve. Join the Angles Landing community and provide meaningful service to foster youth as they embark on a journey to create their story and build a life of purpose.

Our volunteers fill a critical role in ensuring each former foster youth has the support and guidance to feel confident, capable, and connected. Whether you volunteer to teach about finances, fine-tune a resume, or explore photography, these one-on-one opportunities allow our youth to build a foundation of confidence in knowing a caring adult supports them on their journey. In our various volunteer roles, you have the option to mentor one-on-one, teach skill-based workshops, share your hobbies and passions, help youth network within the community, and support youth in crucial life moments, like moving into their first home or starting their first year of college.

Best of all, we can structure a volunteer opportunity that works best for you and your schedule. Whether you want to volunteer at a single event or support youth as a mentor, we will find the opportunity that best supports you. Once we receive your volunteer sign-up form, we will contact you within 5 business days to set up a time to attend our new volunteer orientation. The orientation will help you better understand the various volunteer opportunities and your role as a volunteer. After the orientation, an outreach coordinator will work with you to help identify your specific interest and time commitments with volunteering.

After your orientation, background check, and volunteer training, a volunteer outreach coordinator will pair you with a youth or event based on your volunteer interest. Because this is often individualized to the specific needs of our youth, it can take anywhere from one week to several weeks to ensure we find the best fit.

Your time commitment is up to you. Our new volunteer orientation will help detail how much time is expected with the various opportunities to help ensure you find the right fit for you.

Absolutely! Many of our volunteers take on multiple roles and/or engage with several Angels Landing services.

Volunteers are valued members of our growing community. We welcome and appreciate your time, skill, and ideas as we evolve to meet the needs of our youth.

Currently, you do need to be at least 18 years of age to start volunteering with Angels Landing.

Currently, our services are limited to Southern Utah. However, as a member of the 100k community, we have connections to other organizations across the country engaged in similar work. Reach out to us, and we would be happy to connect you with those opportunities.
